THE COLOR OF THE WORDS

Introspective for colorful communication

Art concept:

Colors don't exist

 

there are only the waves produced, our brain le

coding perceiving color.

the same goes for words

there is only their meaning.

To create the project I drew on semiology / semiotics

(the science that studies the signs in communication, where the signs "stand for something else and are interpreted on the basis of the subject and context”),
I wanted to create a SIGN (color) that represented a WORD (significant) and his MEANINGS.

To represent the meaning of the word I used the same method that is used to create a color: the sum of the percentages of 4 colors primary (Cyano, Magenta, Yellow, Black), produces the perceived color.

So also words are composed of 4 different percentages of emotions, thoughts, dreams, remember….
The color I produce is my color that manages to represent the word.

The word / color must be looked at, read, interpreted, elaborated ....

If you also love colors, the irony and believe that a yellow sweater, a pair of green shoes, a pair of red glasses make a difference, on how to face the day, then you are in tune with the project.

Because life is multicolored, not just pink.
